General terms and conditions
1. General.
These terms and conditions apply to every transaction between Koko Beauty Spot and the client to which Koko Beauty Spot has declared these terms and conditions applicable, and insofar as no deviation from these terms and conditions has been expressly agreed in writing by both parties.

2. Efforts made.
The treatments at Koko Beauty Spot are performed to the best of our knowledge and in accordance with the requirements of good workmanship and based on the current level of scientific knowledge. Koko Beauty Spot undertakes, insofar as reasonably possible, to inform the client about the financial consequences of the treatments to be performed and/or any additions thereto.
3. Appointments.
If the client is unable to attend an appointment, they must notify Koko Beauty Spot as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours before the start of the appointment. Rescheduling or canceling an appointment will only be accepted if this is communicated by email (kokobeautyspot@gmail.com) or WhatsApp (+3247122216) and subsequently confirmed. If the client fails to comply with this obligation or does not do so in time, Koko Beauty Spot has the right to charge 50% of the agreed transaction.
If the client arrives more than 5 minutes and less than 15 minutes late, Koko Beauty Spot may shorten the treatment by a time proportional to the delayed start time. The amount to be charged for this transaction will remain unchanged.
If the client is more than fifteen minutes late, Koko Beauty Spot may cancel the treatment and charge 50% for this transaction.
If you forget to cancel your appointment, we will unfortunately be forced to charge the full amount for the scheduled treatment(s).

4. Payment.
Koko Beauty Spot lists all prices for treatments on this website and these are also listed in the beauty salon. The prices listed include VAT. Prices are subject to change.
Offers listed in advertisements and on the website are valid for the specified period. If additional conditions apply to these offers, these will be stated.
Before leaving the beauty salon, the client must pay for the treatment and any products in cash or digitally.
5. Personal data & privacy.
Prior to the first transaction, personal data will be requested from the client. The client may assume that only data necessary for business administration and the performance of treatments will be requested. This personal data will be recorded in a computerized system designed for this purpose.
Koko Beauty Spot acts in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Personal Data Protection Act when working with the client's personal data. Koko Beauty Spot will not disclose this personal data to third parties without the client's written consent.
6. Confidentiality.
Koko Beauty Spot undertakes to maintain confidentiality regarding all confidential information about the client that arises during treatment in the beauty salon. Information is treated as confidential if this has been communicated by the client or if the information is of such a nature that it can be assumed to be confidential.
This confidentiality obligation may lapse on the basis of legal provisions or court rulings. If this legal or judicial provision is in force, the confidential information will be provided to the specified authority upon request.

7. Liability
Koko Beauty Spot is not liable for damage of any kind caused by the practitioner acting on the basis of incorrect and/or incomplete information provided by the client. Relevant information about physical conditions, medication use, work, leisure activities, etc. must be known to the beauty salon and therefore also to the practitioner prior to a transaction.
Koko Beauty Spot is not liable for damage, loss, or theft of the client's personal property.

8. Damage & theft
Koko Beauty Spot has the right to claim compensation from the client in the event of damage caused by the client to the beauty salon's furnishings, equipment, or products.
In the event of theft, Koko Beauty Spot is obliged to report this to the police.
9. Complaints
In the event of a complaint about a treatment, this must be reported as soon as possible to the owner of the beauty salon and the practitioner. A solution to your complaint will be sought immediately. If the client is not satisfied with the solution offered, the client must report this in writing to the owner of the beauty salon as soon as possible, but within one week (7 days).
The owner of the beauty salon must respond within one week. If the complaint is justified on the basis of facts, the beauty salon will repeat the treatment.
10. Proper behavior
The client must behave in accordance with generally accepted standards in the beauty salon. If, after repeated warnings, the client continues to behave inappropriately, the beauty salon may refuse the client access to the beauty salon.
If the improper behavior is of such a nature that it violates legal standards, Koko Beauty Spot is obliged to report this to the police.

11. Law
Belgian law applies to every agreement between Koko Beauty Spot and the client. In the event of any dispute regarding the content and meaning of these general terms and conditions, the Dutch text shall always prevail. The latest version or the version valid at the time of the conclusion of the agreement shall always apply.
Koko Beauty Spot may have links to other websites, but is not liable for the actions or content of these websites.
